About Me
Hi! I’m Courtney King, mom of two wild and wonderful boys, former RPN, and the cozy heart behind La La Land for Littles Sleep Consulting.
I spent a decade as a Registered Practical Nurse in women’s and newborn care, surgical recovery, and community health. Being there for families during big, emotional moments taught me how much calm reassurance and clear guidance can truly make a difference. I bring that same warmth into every sleep plan I create.
When I pressed pause on nursing to stay home with my boys, I quickly discovered what every parent eventually learns: sleep touches everything from our mood, our patience, and our well-being. This brought me to dive deep into gentle sleep strategies, which I used with my own little ones.
That’s what inspired me to become a certified pediatric sleep consultant so I could support more families who just need a little guidance, a little hope, and a whole lot more rest.
Today, I help parents navigate bedtime battles, night waking, nap struggles, regressions, and all the emotions that come with raising tiny humans. My approach is gentle and evidence-based, but also flexible, realistic, and tailored to your child. No judgment or harsh methods. Just steady, heartfelt support.

Bonus fun fact: La La Land for Littles was inspired by the very first baby I ever helped sleep through the night: Leland, the son of my best friend from Texas. Whenever sleep challenges came up, she would reach out to me. I’d walk her through each step, and over time, helping little Leland find his rhythm sparked the name that stuck!
